‘Iron Renew’ Organic Beef Spleen Capsules

  • Iron comes in two main forms: heme iron and non-heme iron.
    Heme iron is found in animal foods such as red meat and organs. Non-heme iron is found in plant foods and most standard, synthetic iron supplements.
    Heme iron is highly bioavailable and is 2-3 X more easily absorbed in to the body in comparison to non-heme iron - which is less easily absorbed and also is more affected by other foods eaten at the same time.

    Because our capsules are made from freeze-dried beef spleen, they contain naturally occurring heme iron, along with the cofactors found in whole food, not isolated synthetic iron - making them a whole food source of iron that the body knows how to digest.

  • Iron needs increase during pregnancy and postpartum.

    Because this product contains naturally occurring heme iron from whole beef spleen, some women choose to use organ-based supplements during these seasons.

    However, pregnancy and breastfeeding are unique physiological states. We always recommend speaking with your healthcare practitioner before introducing any supplement during this time.

  • Grass-fed and finished means the cows have eaten grass for their entire lives.
    Many cattle are grass-fed early on but grain-finished before processing. Grain finishing can change the fatty acid profile and nutrient composition of the animal.

    Grass-fed and finished cattle are raised on pasture for their whole lifecycle, which supports:

    • A more natural diet

    • Higher levels of certain nutrients

    • Ethical and regenerative farming practices

    Our beef organs are sourced from certified organic, grass-fed and finished cows within Australia.

  • Because this is a real whole food product, there may be a mild natural scent when you open the jar.

    The capsules themselves are designed to be swallowed, so you should not notice a taste when taking them as directed.

    We do not add flavouring or masking agents, and what you’re receiving is pure freeze-dried organ in capsule form.

  • Each jar contains 120 capsules.

    The recommended serving is 4 capsules per day, which equals a 30 day supply.

    If taking a different amount, duration will vary.

  • When stored in the jar, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, the capsules are shelf-stable for 1-2 years once opened and will last until the best-before date printed on the jar.

    The silica sachet inside helps protect against moisture and should remain in the bottle.

    Always keep the lid tightly sealed after use.

  • Unlike non-heme iron, heme iron does not rely heavily on vitamin C for absorption.

    Freeze-dried beef spleen contains many micronutrients and is a highly concentrated source of Vitamin C, containing approximately 36-50mg per 100g. It is considered the richest organ meat source of vitamin C, and therefore helps to metabolise the iron within it.

  • Constipation is commonly associated with synthetic non-heme iron supplements.

    Heme iron from whole food sources is generally gentler on digestion and less likely to cause gastrointestinal discomfort.

    That said, every body is different. If you experience discomfort, consider adjusting timing, taking with food, or consulting your practitioner.

  • This depends on your individual iron status and overall health.

    Some people report feeling improvements in energy within days or weeks.
    For measurable changes in iron stores (such as ferritin), blood testing is typically reassessed after 8–12 weeks.

    Consistency is important. Iron restoration is gradual, not instant.

    If you are working to correct low iron levels, regular monitoring with your healthcare provider is recommended.

    Taking multiple iron products together may increase total iron intake beyond what you need.

    If you are currently taking an iron supplement, it’s best to:

    • Review your recent iron studies (ferritin, haemoglobin, etc.)

    • Speak with your practitioner

    • Avoid doubling up unless advised

Beef Tallow Cream

  • Beef tallow is rendered fat from grass-fed cattle, and it's actually one of the oldest skin care remedies in the world. It's incredibly close in composition to our skin's own natural oils, which means it absorbs beautifully and works with your skin rather than sitting on top of it. It’s known and has been known for centuries for its protective and hydrating abilties.

  • Not at all. Our tallow is carefully double rendered and purified, then whipped with organic jojoba oil, vitamin E and lightly scented with rose geranium essential oil which gives it a soft, floral aroma.

  • Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Because tallow is naturally stable and vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, it has a shelf life of around 12 months, and we recommend using it within 6 months of opening.

    Avoid getting water into the jar to keep it fresh as long as possible. A dry spatula or clean fingers each time does the trick.

  • This is one of the most common worries, and we get it. But because tallow's fatty acid profile so closely mirrors human skin, it tends to absorb really well rather than sit on the surface. A little goes a long way, so start with a small amount, warm it between your fingers, and press it into your skin. If it feels heavy at first, you've used too much. Most people are surprised by how quickly it sinks in.

  • We source our tallow locally from small-scale, grass-fed cattle raised on regenerative farms in northern NSW Australia. The tallow is fresh, clean, and as close to the source as possible.

  • Yes, in most cases. The short, clean ingredient list makes it a great option for sensitive or reactive skin. If you have a known sensitivity to any of the ingredients, do a small patch test first.

    It is gentle enough for your little ones too.

Shipping & Returns

  • Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping across Australia typically takes 2–7 business days, and express takes 1-4 business days. Once dispatched, your tracking number will be sent to your email, which you can use it to follow your parcel via Australia Post. Note that tracking updates can take 24–48 hours to appear.

  • If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged or incorrect, email us at hello@manaway.com.au within 7 days of your expected delivery date with clear photos. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund, and cover any return shipping costs.

  • Yes, we offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason within 30 days of delivery, email us at hello@manaway.com.au with your order number, the product(s), with your reason. The product does need to be returned to us (even if opened or partially used) before a refund is issued. Return postage is the customer's responsibility. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method.

  • Yes, if your order hasn't been dispatched yet, contact us and we'll cancel it for a full refund. If it's already on its way, our 30 day satisfaction guarantee applies.
